Mama on a Quest: ShannaLee Designs

Hey Guys!! Thanks for stopping by! I recently started a little business, and wanted to share it with all of you! It started out as just a little gift to my Dad and Father-in-Law for fathers day. I had seen similar designs on Pinterest and thought; "How hard could it be?!" After playing for a while I came up with this:

This design was for my own Dad. He has one kid in Wyoming, one in Utah (me) and one in Arizona. I wanted to give a personalized gift that he would cherish. I loved how it turned out! After I was finished I decided to make one for my buddy Thiago our Brazilian Missionary. His turned out even more perfect!!

I was excited on what I had made. I showed my Mom and she posted it to the Missionary Momma's facebook page. I had no idea I would get the interest I did! People were asking where they could get one for their Missionary. So, long story short I set up and etsy account and sold a few over the internet. Then the Co-Head Chair of the Missionary Momma's website contacted my on Etsy and asked if I would like to become a Vendor for their big event in SLC at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was in a few short weeks and I was excited! I became pretty overwhelmed after I replied that I would attend. I had NO idea what I was doing, I am not a business person! Luckily I married one! He helped we with pricing and items to add. Now it has become quite the fun little business that I really enjoy.

We named this design: Custom HeartStrings. So far I have only done Missionary HeartStrings, and Fathers HeartStrings. But I am open for new ideas if you would like to order one for your spread out family, or if you are a Military Wife and want a keepsake to tie you and your Love's HeartStrings together. Connecting their heartstrings from Home to Mission. Can add most languages, to one or both quotes. Colors will be matched to the colors of the Flag(s) or clip art. Can do most outlines of States, Countries, and Continents. Custom quotes or added cutesies can be designed to meet your needs as well.
