Mama on a Quest: February 2014

November was pretty crazy as well. There were many things happening. Cornbelly's date night with friends. We got to go twice this fall. first time was with the Edvalson's (my sisters family) with the kiddos. Brent was still too little to really enjoy it, and as you can see fell asleep! ha But then we went back for date night with Kevin and Marissa. We had a blast!! Even tried to climb the rock wall! Kevin and MacKay killed us. And I almost died coming down.....We got lost in the corn maze, looking for something that didn't exist, and scared the crap out of each other in the hay maze! It was a great night!

We also went to a pre-showing of Hunger games. It was amazing. and I just want to read them all over again. Can't wait for the 3rd one!

Then we trekked it to Cokeville Wyoming to help my Mom set up Christmas decorations around the house. She was heading to Brazil with my Dad to pick up my Missionary brother from his mission. They were leaving at the beginning of December and wouldn't be back till a few days before Christmas. We wanted Christmas to be all set up when Andrew came home. So we set up before Thanksgiving! Which by the way, we were totally ok with, because it meant listening to Christmas music. (; This is a picture of me at the top of the ladder and the 12 ft tree, decorating. I took a pic for instagram, and my mom was yelling at me to get back to work. All work, no play...(;

MacKay's birthday was this month! He isn't a big party person, so we kept it small and didn't get any pictures! Boo. Happy Birthday honey!!

It was also my sister's birthday just a few days later! I took her to get a pedicure(my first ever) and it was amazing. Seriously. I was in heaven! Then we went to eat at Pizza Pie Café. If you guys have not been, you need to go! It is a buffet with pizza's galore. Dessert Pizza's, regular pizzas, Pasta's and salads. mmm. I need to go again asap.

Also we got out Taylor Family Pics this month. They hadn't gotten family pictures since MacKay came home from his mission 6 years ago! Since then we have added 3 sister in law's and 1 baby. So we were due for an update. (; Plus, Sara was leaving on her mission is a few weeks. Laura thought it would be a great idea to have our outfits be themed around Camo. Yes, camo. If any of you know me at all, you know I HATE camo. Here are my two cents: I feel like Camo is perfect for the use it was made. Hunting. Blending in. But to wear it as a fashion statement is just ludicrous to me. Drives me completely insane. I know....I married into the Taylor family....right? Still, I will never get over it! (;
So after much kicking and screaming on my part. Many eye rolls and making fun of the clothing choice, we made it to pics. They turned out really good. (Besides the camo) and I was happy with them! (;
