July Jabbers

July was a pretty crazy month! Lots of family time and we had so much fun. I am LOVING having my sister and her family only 40 mins away. The first few weeks that she moved we got together and went to the Aquarium in Sandy. Avery LOVED all the animals. Brent is still too small to really be interested, but we had so much fun. We ate at my favorite place; Paradise Bakery. Mmmm. Did I say I love being closer to Lindsay?? (;

Ok, can I say how weird it is that We both have strollers with kids?? When did that happen?! (;

Avery LOVED touching the Star Fish. Don't worry, it was allowed!

Avery watching the penguins.

Brent sure does love his Aunt Linds!

My two main men in Birdseye!! Brent was totally interested in the lawn mower.

We spend the 24th of July in Spanish Fork. In the parade, the Taylor men participated in the 2000 stripling warriers. My father in law helped plan this idea, and it got standing ovation through out the city as well as lots of publicity. It was very powerful!

This is us at the Spanish Fork Rodeo! We were right by the speakers and it was so loud Brent just cried. So we left before it even started, MacKay stayed with his family and I went home to get the munchkin to bed!

Coming home from the SF Rodeo we took some pictures and Brent wanted to give me kisses back! (:

The weekend before, we celebrated Pioneer day in Cokeville, with the Henderson's! Daesha was able to be with us too! (My missionary brother's girlfriend) After the parade and the meeting at the church and BBQ after we packed up and headed for Bear Lake! MacKay fell asleep on the way. hehe
Brent fell asleep, but he LOVED the water!
MacKay started a mud fight....of course he would..... I think he won.....
Brent LOVES Daesha!

Happy 3 year Anniversary to us!
On July 30th 2010, we were married in the Manti Temple. I still remember every detail of that day! I haven't stopped smiling since. I am so incredibly happy with my life, and 3 years later we have a small little family! Brent is so much like his daddy, and I couldn't be happier about that. MacKay is the best guy I know. He is so motivated, and motivates me to be the best version of myself. He has an incredible testimony that builds mine everyday. He is the hardest working man I have ever met and I admire that so much in him. I wish I had HALF the work ethic he has. I am more attracted to him every day, and we have the best conversations. We discuss our dreams and wishes for life. He has such a zest for life that spreads to everyone around him. He never complains, and he is a very positive person. He has helped me overcome my fault of complaining over silly things. He brings out the best in me, and I have no idea where I would be without him. I  can't even imagine my life without his smiling face. He is the most amazing husband and the fun, crazy Daddy. I can't wait to see what the years of our life has yet to bring!

On our Anniversary we went to Goodwood BBQ, MacKay's favorite, and had a quiet evening at home with out favorite munchkin!

Happy 6 Months to this big boy!

XOXO- Shanna

June Joyness

June had a bit more going on than May. Here is what went on!

 Marissa, her sister Teasha, MacKay and I ran a 5K in Lakeshore for Homecoming! Marissa and I had trained together for months and then decided to run the 5K! (3.2 miles) It was Marissa and MacKay's first race ever. My first 5K race, but Teasha has been there done that! (; We had so much fun!! MacKay and I were neck and neck the whole time, and he pulled out a 1 second lead at the end. How lame. (; I blame my short legs!! hehe

I also participated in a challenge for 100 miles by June 20th. It was a 40 day challenge, and I finsished!! It was about 2.5 miles a day, but sometimes I was a slacker and had to catch up. I had to do 9 miles one day. I about died. Next time I will stick to the 2.5 a day!! (;

Another Picture of us before the race, it was freezing at 6:30 in the AM.

Brent got his first Hair cut!! He is do for another one here soon!

This month he started whipping out some new faces!

He discovered mirrors at the Doctors office!!

MacKay's brother Bryce got married in June, and so we were quite busy with the plans and setting up. They were married in the SLC temple!

  This month he got up to a crawling position and would rock back and forth, he would then push up to his toes into a plank position. Cutest thing ever.

Month of May Madness

It's catch-up time!

The month of May was the beginning of the Summer Madness.
Here are some of the pictures and adventures we had!

Cutest PJ's ever.

Lots of morning runs!!

At nights that I had workout classes MacKay would watch Brent, and this is how he does his hair, and totes him around to stop him from being fussy!! hehe

Sara (SIL) graduated from High School and Seminary!!

Mother's Day came, and you know what that means....LAST Skype sesh with the Brother before he comes home!! We surprised him by going to my Grandma Henderson's house so he could see her! He was so excited. He also forgot that I was now a mom, and wished my Mom, Grandma and Lindsay Happy Mother's Day. My Mom reminded him I was a Mother too, and He freaked out! haha. It was so funny. He got to meet Brent, but Brent was sleeping most of the time. We cannot WAIT to have Elder Henderson back home!!!

This was a part of my Mother's day, I planned a dinner at the Taylor's for Laura where we had the BEST Chicken Alfredo ever. MacKay took me on a motorcycle ride. <3 Love him and this view in Lake Shore!

These were my gifts for Mother's Day! I kill any kind of plant that is in a 100 ft. radius of me. So MacKay got me some beautiful WOOD Roses!! I loved them! My Mom got me a necklace that say's "A mother holds her childrens hands for a while but their hearts forever." and MacKay also got me my much begged for swimming suit!! (: I was spoiled!

We took family pictures to give to the Mother's in our lives!

I got to see some VERY special friends of mine!! I coached Club Volleyball in Southern Utah last year but couldn't this year because of the move. So I went and saw them play in American fork! Rhonda is my hero, and role model of the Mother and WOMAN I want to become someday.What an inspiration she is to me!! She is now the coach, and is a Mom to one of the girls I coached. (who I didn't get a picture with, but LOVE her to death!)

And my dear Shalece who has gotten SO good at the sport I love so much. I was so proud of her, as well as all the girls! I miss them! I am going to state to watch the 4 different towns that hold very special girls in them!!

And a Happy 4 Months to this little muchkin!!

And last but not least I accomplished my goal of getting back to my Pre-pregnancy weight!! It took a lot of hard work and effort. But I did! I have now 10 more lbs before I get back to my goal weight, where I felt the best about myself. Wish me luck!

May was filled with lots of fun, but you aint seen nothin until you see the next few months. Stay tuned!

XOXO
